Asus Zenbook Flip 14 Review: Design and Build
Ultrabook means that you can use your device at any angle. The hinge given in the Zenbook Flip 14 supports 360-degree rotation, that is, you can use the device as a tablet too. With just 1.3 kg in weight, the Flip 14 feels light and you can easily carry it with a lot due to your tablet usage.
Design and Build
The device is made of metal material, due to which the build quality looks quite strong. Personally speaking, Asus could give a slightly more trendy style to its design. On the top lid in the laptop, you can also be given a texture that would make it more beautiful. Also, fingerprints are easily marked on the laptop.
Asus Zenbook Flip 14 review: display and keyboard
The biggest feature of this hybrid ie Zenbook is its display. Here you are given a 14-inch touch screen. According to the company, this display supports a 100% sRGB color spectrum and a 178-degree angle of view.It is good to see multimedia content on display. Touch and swipe response is also much better. If I say a drawback, the display is quite glossy due to which there can be some difficulty in viewing content.
keyboard
With this, I would definitely say that next time Stylus must be sent with the laptop because if all the things are not used in one review then the review cannot be called complete.
Just above the display, a front-facing camera with HD resolution is provided for video calls. With this camera, the face-unlock feature is also available on the laptop. This face unlocking feature works well, but if you are wearing an accessory on the face, then there can be a slight problem.
The 1.4mm travel space on the keyboard proves to be quite ideal for typing. But the arrow-buttons given here are quite small which cannot be used fast. Also, the keyboard's backlight could have been a little brighter. The four-finger smart gesture feature also works quite well.
Asus Zenbook Flip 14 review: Performance and battery
When it comes to performance, in Zenbook Flip 14 you do not have any problem in doing professional work like email, browsing, multimedia content, typing work, etc. The laptop has an AMD Ryzen 7-3700U processor built on the 12nm architecture. Integrated AMD Radeon RX Vega 8 graphics and 8GB 2400MHz DDR4 RAM are also available here with a better processor.Even if you want to do gaming, then the laptop battery will not meet your expectation. In my opinion, Ultrabooks should be introduced in the market with a good battery backup as we only know Ultra-Book as portable. According to Asus, the laptop is able to give you 9 hours of backup but in my tests, it supports 4 hours of office work.
