Realme has made its mark as a good brand by launching more than one device in the last year. The company always competes directly with Xiaomi because of providing the best specifications at an affordable price. At the launch event of Realme 3, the company had announced the launch of the Redmi Note 7 Pro option and today the company has launched Realme 3 Pro.

Looking back, it feels completely different from the Note 7 Pro.
Realme has also given you a plastic back-panel here. The rear has replaced the glass-back with plastic material which proves a bit better in the drop test. The good thing is that the 3 Pro is a bit thinner and lighter in weight than the Note 7 Pro. The curvature at the edges of the back panel at the rear provides its good grip.
Realme has also given a gradient finish in the Pro variant, which makes it quite trendy and if you look at the back panel from an angle, an "S" line looks much better.
The camera setup on the backside is slightly raised but the case found in the box flattens it. The yellow-ring on the primary camera sensor is becoming a trademark of Realme, but Realme 3 Pro could have looked quite good even without it.
The speaker grill, 3.5mm audio jack, and micro-USB port are all found on the lower edge. The absence of a USB-Type C port is a bit surprising, but VOOC fast charging support can provide better charging here.
Realme phones have always been leaning towards a slightly bluish-color profile, but this time the color calibration has been better than before and the white has been given a lot of balance. Along with this, there is an option to change the color profile in the display settings.
As far as outdoor visibility is concerned, it provides brightness up to 400nits, so you can use it easily in the sun.
Overall, the FHD + panel of Realme 3 Pro can be called one of the best panels in this segment for now.
So is it better than the SD675 used in Redmi Note 7 Pro? Qualcomm has said that Snapdragon 710 gives a better gaming experience than Snapdragon 675.
Apart from better GPU use of 10nm technology and some components like L3 system cache which makes it better than Snapdragon 675.
After using both Redmi Note 7 Pro and Realme 3 Pro phones, we also find this a bit true. Gaming performance is definitely available in Realme 3 Pro, but it cannot be said to be much better. Realme 3 Pro is the only phone in this price segment in which Fortnite is also supported.
If you say in one line, it can be said to be the best performance device under Rs 15,000.
As far as software is concerned, Realme still uses Oppo's Color OS 6. The custom OS is Android Pie based, with a lot of different customization options. Personally, I like the app drawer by default in Color OS.
Apart from this, there is no special fun in Color OS. The animation found in this UI doesn't look that special either. Along with this, the giving of Dailyhunt, Opera, and UC Browser, ShareChat, Webnovel, and some other applications also makes it worse.
You can also download Customer Launcher from Play Store, but to make it the default launcher, you will have to change the settings.
Realme 3 Pro gets your Widewine L1 certification which is mandatory for HD streaming and it proves to be quite a good thing too. We can still get some updates and the company has also clarified that the updates will continue to be received at regular intervals.
The fingerprint sensor is also available in Realme 3 Pro which is quite fast as well as the face unlock of the device is also very fast. The given mono speaker also gives very fast audio output and the audio output average is obtained from headphones.
To outperform Redmi's 48MP sensor, Realme has used the Sony IMX519 sensor here. This is the same sensor that has also been used in OnePlus 6T. In Realme 3 Pro, you have 16MP + 5MP camera setup and 25MP front camera.
The camera application does not look much special but you are given all kinds of modes and options including portrait mode, panorama, chroma boost mode, and nightscape mode.
Chrome boost mode works like HDR mode in which you get a better dynamic range and better color tone. You can get good low-light performance in nightscape mode.
Camera outputs of Realme 3 Pro are much better in terms of price. The rear camera is capable of capturing quite a sharp image but the tone is slightly warm. The image clicked outdoors gives a better dynamic range and contrast in proper lighting.
In AI mode, the device detects the scene and boosts the color.
Now let's talk about night photography, the night-scape mode given in Realme 3 Pro helps a lot here. Multi-exposure shots provide much clearer details than auto-mode. AI automatically turns on night mode here.
Realme 3 Pro camera review auto mode vs night mode
Compared to Redmi Note 7 Pro, Realme 3 Pro gives slightly better low-light photography in which the noise is also less. But the color tone of both is better in Redmi Note 7 Pro.
As far as selfie is concerned, Realme 3 Pro looks a little better. The device offers better selfies even after setting the beautification mode to zero. Edge-detection and bokeh modes are also much better.
Talking about the video, in Realme 3 Pro you get support to capture 4K video at 30fp and 1080p video at 60fps. The phone also supports shooting slow-mo at 720p upper 960fps, which can be said to be much better according to this budget but only in outdoor photography. Overall, apart from the average camera application, Realme 3 Pro can be said to be among the best camera phones according to its price.
Realme has supported VOOC charging 3.0 in this segment of devices here. The phone has a 20W VOOC charger in the box, which gives the device a full charge in 80+ minutes. In addition to fast charging support, a 20W charger in the box can also be called a very good move and attractive aspect according to this price.

The look and design of the device is not that premium but considering this price and specification, this shortcoming can be ignored a bit. The handset offers attractive battery backup, good display, and better low-light performance.
The UI of Realme 3 Pro can be said to be its biggest drawback, which the company should fix as soon as possible. Apart from this, Realme 3 Pro can be called a powerful device in which you get to see all the features.

In Realme 3 pro you get to see Snapdragon 710 chipset which is based on the 10nm FinFET process.
