This classic design business laptop looks attractive with very premium looks. With its complete aluminum chassis, it has it's signature gem-cut design, which makes it look even better. In India, the Dark Ash Silvera, Poseidon Blue Hues is available with two color options. The golden shade on the side frame, the HP logo looks quite good, along with the display hinge giving it strength as well as showing the design of this notebook better.

HP Specter X360 2020 Review: Design and Build Quality

Design and Build Quality
Design and Build Quality
The edge of the device is quite sharp, so when viewed from a distance, the device looks much thinner. The built quality of the HP Specter X360 can be said to be of the best quality and the metal-design gives it strong quality as well as good experience on usage. You do not see any flexibility or cracks in the laptop, which can be called as a premium device.
Compared to the previous generation Specter, HP has made changes in the place of ports, fingerprint sensor, power button. The fingerprint sensor finds a place on the right side of the track-pad. The power button is up compared to the first, which I liked quite a lot because sometimes there were problems due to accidental touch.
The laptop has almost all the basic ports, including 2 USB Type-C ports, a USB Type-A port, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a micro SD card slot. You can use both Type-C ports for charging and Thunderbolt 3 standard.
In the HP Specter X360, you also get the sleep and charge feature, which means that when the laptop is in sleep mode, then you can charge other devices from it as well. Apart from this, the button to turn off the web-camera is also given on the right-side. Apart from all this, the new keyboard design and the speaker are directly in front of you.
Weighing in at 1.33 kg, it is just 14 grams heavier than the LG laptop, but it cannot be said to be particularly heavy considering the premium design and build quality.

HP Specter X360 2020 review: display

The 13.3-inch display is quite bright and shows better color than the last generation product. The thicker bezel at the top and bottom seems to have a slightly older design as the edge-to-edge display is available in today's trend from smartphones to laptops. Overall speaking, this FHD IPS screen proves to be one of HP's best displays.
In this, you get a very smooth experience with 120Hz refresh rate support even if you use it with a touch screen. With Corning Gorilla Glass NBT Protection on the touch-screen panel, you can easily use it without any worries. Personally, I like the HP SureView technology, in which the display from the side-view does not look special. Which makes the laptop easy to use in any public space.

HP Specter X360 2020 Review: Keyboard and Trackpad

The Specter X360 has given you a good keyboard like the previous generation. The size of the keys is bigger, the feedback is also better, with the space between the buttons is also only 1.4mm which proves to be much better for typing.

Keyboard

Keyboard

You can easily use the keyboard in the dark. The keyboard backlight turns off automatically when no key is pressed for 30 seconds. The 4.7-inch wide-trackpad designed by Synaptics just below the keyboard performs quite well. It also has multi-finger support.

Specter X360 2020 review: performance

Because the X360 is available in the market at a price of more than 1 lakh rupees, it is expected to have a strong performance. In HP's good-looking device, you get the latest specification in the form of 8th Generation i7 processor 16GB RAM @ 2133 MHz and 512GB PCIe SSD. Intel UHD Graphics 620 with an octa-core processor is also given for better graphics. As expected, you do not have a dedicated graphics card
In daily use, HP Specter x360 will be called Perfect for those users who use laptops for more than 12 hours a day like me. The laptop runs on Windows 10 which performs all the tasks quite well, mainly because of the high-frequency RAM and PCIe SSD given in it.
In my day-to-day use, multiple chrome windows on laptops, frequent switching to multiple tabs, daily photo-editing on Abode's Lightroom and Photoshop CC, streaming multimedia content can be easily done on HP Specter X360 and use SSD Because of this, the boot-up time and shut-down time can be said to be negligible.
To see the real performance of the laptop, HP has done some benchmark tests on the Specter X360In the first Geekbench 4 multi-core test, it got a score of 13,382 which is more than the Apple Macbook Air 13-inch. The 90,471 score in the 3DMark Ice Strom Unlimited Test is also better than the LG Gram 14 2-in-1 and Lenovo Yoga C930 Book. The test results of the CineBench R15 are also similar.
It is very important to state here that during these tests this laptop does not get too hot. So overall, the Whiskey Core i7 based Specter X360 13 does not leave you behind in any case.

HP Specter X360 13 Review: Battery & Audio

In terms of battery, performance can be said to be quite good. In HP Specter X360 13, you can easily get 12 hours of backup with 50% brightness on average usage. Talking about multimedia content, the entire Stanger Things 3 season could easily be seen on Netflix without the use of a 65W charger. Even after a good backup, it is still less than the company's claim of 17.3 hours but more than 8 hours. The backup laptop can be perfect for most users.

Audio
Audio
Another thing about the 13-inch Specter that you will like a lot is its audio. Tune setup 4 speakers - 2x front and 2x bottom by Bang & Olufsen provide fast and clear audio output. The quality of the audio output from the speaker is also quite good.

If you want a premium and stylish laptop, then you can see the top-end specification, then HP Specter X360 proves to be one of the best laptops for you. Improved hardware and software combination also makes it usable for long-term use. This improvement in design and internal software makes it a much better experience device.
