ONEPLUS 7 PRO REVIEW: STRONG PERFORMANCE

OnePlus-7 Pro

OnePlus-7 Pro

Oneplus 6 and later 6G was launched last year. This time there was a lot of discussion about the Oneplus 7 phone. However, about a month before the launch, news came that the company could offer two models this time, and it happened. In addition to Oneplus 7, the company also launched Oneplus 7 Pro. The most important thing was that the Pro variant became available for the first sale and we had the same phone for review.

Pro, as the name suggests, is a large version of the standard edition of Oneplus 7, and many things have been improved with OnePlus 7. At the same time, there is a big price difference. The entry-level price for OnePlus 7 Pro on the Indian market is 48,999 rupees, and the Samsung S10 series is also available in this series, which is known for its excellent performance with the best optics. In such a situation, the OnePlus, known as the flagship killer, competes directly with the flagship. The question now is whether the brand should go towards Samsung or OnePlus is the best. Let's find out in this review.

Oneplus 7 Pro Review: Unique design

OnePlus 6T was highly valued in terms of design and Oneplus 7 Pro is a step ahead in this regard. The back of the phone is made of glass, which is of very good quality. On the other hand, a curved body gives a very good feeling. Yes, it is a bit quieter, in such a situation there is always the fear of slipping by hand, but a silicone case is included with the sales package.

The most important thing is that even after the vitreous body, the fingerprints in the previous panel are negligible. We came to the test of the blue version of Oneplus 7 Pro, which was introduced in metallic gradient color. But its slope is completely different from others and gives a soft feeling.

All three cameras are in the shape of a cylinder on the back of the phone. There is a flash on the outside and then the company logo. When you turn to the side panel, the right and vibration buttons, and the power button are shown while the volume rocker is on the left.

A pop-up camera at the top and a SIM slot at the bottom, a USB-C slot, and a speaker grill is available. The phone does not have a memory card and there is only one slot for the SIM card. Both the upper and the lower SIM cards are located in a SIM compartment. We have already seen this type of placement in Huawei phones. Get ahead, as you know, a pop camera was put in there. In such a situation, there is no notch or bezel. In the lower area, the borders have also been significantly reduced. Overall, the design looks very luxurious and feels of the highest quality.

If you turn to the design flaw for quality, you will first find that it is very difficult to hold the phone in your hand for the first time. Today the screen on the phone has grown and the weight is also 180 grams. But it weighs 206 grams and seems to weigh a bit. The other deficiency is called coverage. The silicone case came with the phone while you're hoping for better quality on a budget of 50,000 rupees.

Such coverage would be available today on a budget of 5,000 rupees. That said, OnePlus should now be waterproof and dustproof as it gets expensive. Because competitors like Samsung and Apple are represented in this budget and this function is available in them. In such a situation, you can fix the other shortcomings, but the lack of water and dust resistance is considered a big disadvantage.

Oneplus 7 Pro has a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen. The phone's screen is quite large and you can feel it when you touch it. You cannot use the entire screen with one hand. The company introduced it with QHD resolution and it is coated with Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The aspect ratio without the frame of the screen is 19.5: 9. At the same time, it can be said that there is a 90Hz refresh rate support.
